Decisions that
change the day.
What becomes possible when teams can see how their operations fit together.
Eleven stories. From the factory floor to the delivery promise.
A delivery promise
across three plants.
Three plants, nine lines and more than 100 SKUs. Orders, capacity and material checked together before a delivery was promised.

11 STORIESGiving packing and maintenance the same stop.
Milk and curd packing needed a shared record of the machine, the reason and the minutes lost. Recording time beyond each allowed stop made those losses visible to both teams.
Less time waiting. More candy produced.
Material delays and missing bins were holding back a candy line. Connecting output to the reasons for each stop helped the team act on the losses behind the daily total.
Above the goal, with fewer mechanical stops.
As production shifted from 60 ml bottles to mainly 90 ml, the team needed a reliable run. Mechanical interruptions gave maintenance a clear place to start.
Putting each tile size on the right press.
Two plants made the same sizes at different speeds. Planning needed to compare each size at each plant before deciding where production should run.
Knowing what a stopped minute costs in tonnes.
Bar diameter changes how much production is lost during a stop. Connecting diameter, coating rate and downtime helped production and maintenance prioritise their response.
A shorter plan for the same 91 batches.
Thirteen orders had to run across 80 reactors. Scheduling the orders, batch sequence and reactors together shortened the monthly plan by four days and twelve hours.
Lower energy use for every kilogram frozen.
Frozen output and the electricity bill were separate totals. Avanti Frozen connected kilograms and kilowatt-hours on each freezer to understand energy intensity as production grew.
One delivery promise across three plants.
Three plants, nine lines and more than 100 SKUs. Checking orders, capacity and material together gave planning and each plant the same answer before a delivery was promised.
From separate chats to one dealer order.
Stock, payment, dispatch and purchase lived in different WhatsApp conversations. One order now carries the information each team needs to move the work forward.
Filling the same orders with fewer birds.
Breast and leg orders had each been planned as a full bird. Planning the cuts together reduced the live-bird requirement while filling the same chilled orders.
Checking the press before promising the date.
A quote could look right on paper and reach a press that could not hold the sheet. Linking specification, machine fit and ship date moved that check to approval.
