Inspect the source material behind a result.

What it does

Evidence keeps results traceable to saved sources. A result may include an excerpt, comparison information, a source name, a relationship description and the time that source was connected.

Based on X sources counts distinct sources in the evidence. It is not a confidence score or a count of all connected sources.

How to use it

Ask a question or open a saved result from History.
Select Based on X sources beneath the answer.
Read the excerpts and the explanation of how each source was used.
Select Open source to review the saved original.

Example

An invoice check can show a mismatch between invoice INV-001 and PO-101, together with the saved purchase-order amounts used for comparison. Check the original records before acting.

What happens next

Highlighted context tokens show the categories used by the result. Historical evidence continues to point to the source version used at the time.
